Joaan inspired by Oajan is one of the richer, sweeter scents in this vanilla range, built around the Parfums de Marly original. Honey and cinnamon lead, with osmanthus adding a slightly fruity edge. Underneath sits a thick amber base of benzoin, labdanum and ambergris, finished with vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and musk.
Expect something warm and a bit dessert-like rather than fresh. It's a heavy one, so go easy with the first spray or two and see how it develops on you.

When to Wear It
Joaan belongs to cold evenings and nights out. The honey and cinnamon feel cosy, the amber hangs around for hours, and it comes across dressy without trying. I wouldn't bother with it in heat. Nefshane is another honeyed option, and our winter cologne collection has more like it.
