Inspired by Althaïr.
Alateliere inspired by Althaïr is LUNAR & CO.'s take on the Parfums de Marly vanilla and praline scent. It opens with orange blossom and Italian bergamot, with a decent kick of Ceylon cinnamon and Guatemalan cardamom. Then Madagascar Bourbon vanilla and elemi take the middle, and the base finishes on praline, guaiac wood, Ambrox and musk. Sweet, yes, but the spices stop it going flat.

When to Wear It
I'd call Alateliere an autumn and winter scent first. The cinnamon and praline feel right when the air is cold, and it holds up well at dinners or evenings out. Two sprays is usually enough because the base carries. It can get a bit thick in summer heat, so maybe save it for cooler nights then. If you like the spice, Herodise is the smokier option, and our winter cologne collection has more.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Alateliere smell like?
Orange blossom, cinnamon and cardamom at the start, then Bourbon vanilla, and a praline and woody base to finish.
Is Alateliere an Althaïr dupe?
Alateliere inspired by Althaïr follows the same vanilla, spice and praline idea as the Parfums de Marly original, so it works as an Althair dupe. There will be small differences, like with any inspired fragrance.
Is it very sweet?
Sweet, but spiced. If you hate sugary perfumes you might find it rich, so try the 10 ml first.
